[IMPERIUM CONFLICT MYTH: 2,000 Years of the Varus Battle]

For the exhibition Imperium Conflict Myth, FaberCourtial produced an 8-minute film for the LWL-Römermuseum in Haltern that allowed a unique glimpse into the history of the castles along the Lippe river.
The extravagant production depicts life for the Roman legionnaires in Haltern, a remote imperial outpost. The impressive castle reconstruction takes the viewer on a journey to the ancient time of Caesar Augustus. FaberCourtial's 3-D animations, detailed reconstructions, and matte paintings allow insight into the everyday culture of Roman soldiers in the year 9 CE.
